Oxwise is proud to announce the sale of the seventh Galileo Vertical Axis Batch Coater into the UK market. This will be installed in the automotive industry in the spring of 2004. The machine will perform metalisation and top coating within one process chamber. The BMW new mini, the Rover 45, the Toyota Avensis, and the Mitsubishi Pajero are all examples of cars with headlamps metalised in the UK on Galileo metalisers. November 2003 Galileo announce the availablity of a new design of automotive headlamp metaliser using sputtering as the deposition technique. This machine will perform cycles in less than 5 minutes which is very fast for a sputterer of the size of an automotive metalising machine. More: A greater range of surface finishes and colours are available from the sputtering process. The technique produces more durable coatings because of the extra energy in the particles as they bombard the surface to be coated. January 2003 A wider range of Dressler products are available through the Advanced Energy UK sales office. Contact John Punnett on 01869 320022 or email john.punnett@aei.com Summer 2002 Dressler launch an improvement to the CESAR RF generator range. Each generator is now fitted with a 60 megahertz processor which brings rapid response to changes in the demand for power. Repeatability is enhanced. A greater range of interfaces is available which includes Ethernet and Profibus as well as RS232. Extra features included are a target lifetime counter, reflected power overtime trip, and more widely programmable pulse functions from 100 Hz to 30 kHz. |
